About the Event
This event seeks to provide a platform where legal aspirants, law students, graduates, advocates, solicitors, and other legal professionals may directly exchange pre-owned legal textbooks, bare acts, digests, commentaries, and related academic resources, without the involvement of intermediaries or any commission-based system. Prices will be mutually decided by the participants themselves, and the entire event will be conducted strictly on a non-profit basis.
Participants are required to complete an online form a few days before the commencement of the event. This form should include details such as email address, phone number, name, college affiliation, and interest in purchasing or selling books.
Registration Fee
There is no registration fee for participation. However, to manage basic logistical needs such as shelving, storage, and infrastructural arrangements, a nominal facilitation charge of ₹10 per book (applicable to both buyers and sellers) will be levied.
Eligibility
The event will be open to all and will be held within the Government Law College premises. The initiative is expected to attract a wide and diverse audience, including law aspirants, students from across Mumbai, practising advocates, and other legal professionals.
