Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) Jabalpur has taken a significant step towards strengthening its academic and research endeavors by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ), Rajasthan. This collaboration aims to facilitate the exchange of students and faculty members, enhance academic activities, promote research and publications, and develop joint training and research programs.
A Step Towards Advancing Legal Education
Established in 2018 under the Madhya Pradesh Dharmashastra National Law University Act, DNLU is dedicated to advancing legal education and upholding the rule of law as per the Indian Constitution. Under the guidance of its esteemed leadership — Hon’ble Justice J.K. Maheshwari, Visitor; Hon’ble Chief Justice Suresh Kumar Kait, Chancellor; Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor; and Dr. Praveen Tripathi, Registrar — DNLU offers programs like B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D., fostering academic rigor and holistic development.

Located in the vibrant city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, it is led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur and Registrar Dr. Sunita Pankaj. Prof. Kaur, an accomplished academic specializing in Company Law, Securities Regulations, and Competition Law, has a distinguished career that includes roles as Registrar at National Law University, Delhi, and as Professor and Dean at the Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, Greater Noida.
The Signing Ceremony
The MoU was signed on January 18, 2025, during the Vice Chancellors’ Conclave. The event saw participation from Vice Chancellors of National Law Schools across India. The agreement was formalized by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha and Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, with Dr. Sunita Pankaj also present at the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur emphasized NLUJ’s commitment to high-quality legal education and its support for professional growth.
