The first week of the International Sai Sewa Trust (ISST) Summer Internship Program 2025 concludes on a high note, marking a meaningful beginning to a journey of grassroots engagement, legal empowerment, social impact, and grant stipends to support field interns.
From courts and classrooms to hospitals and marketplaces, dedicated interns ventured into the heart of their communities. They conducted impactful surveys, promoted critical legal awareness, and deepened their understanding of public service and justice at the ground level.
Ground-Level Change
In the first week, interns visited local institutions including District Courts, Legal Services Authorities, government schools, and community centers. They conducted field surveys on child labour, mapped infrastructure, domestic violence, human rights, street food, and conducted legal-awareness campaigns promoting helplines like:

- Ms. Priya Anand from Patna visited a Government Hospital, interacted with staff and patients to understand healthcare access challenges, and surveyed a Government School on student welfare and infrastructure. She also connected with local shop owners to raise awareness about legal aid, child rights, and available emergency helplines.
