Senior Professor (Dr.) Usha Tandon, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj, delivered the opening address, sharing the book’s origins from an International Conference on Mediation co-hosted by the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, and Delhi School of Public Policy and Governance, in association with the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC), Supreme Court of India. Senior Professor (Dr.) V.K. Ahuja, Director of the Indian Law Institute, discussed India’s deep-rooted history in mediation and its continued relevance in modern society. Hon'ble Law Minister Sh. Arjun Ram Meghwal highlighted the book's pertinence, stating, “Mediation is crucial, and without it, nothing will work now or in the future. It is suitable for all types of disputes, and parties must be made aware of its benefits.”
